Leslie Marshall has revealed that she’s gone through 11 miscarriages and 13 cycles of in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles.

The Fox News contributor, 53, appeared during a Thursday, Jan. 1 episode of Outnumbered and spoke with fellow contributor Joe Concha and Tomi Lahren, where they discussed Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot at Utah Valley University during a nationwide college tour hosted by his organization, Turning Point USA, on Sept. 10.

Turning to Marshall, who is a liberal radio talk show host, Lahren asked if there’s “anything that the left can learn from someone like Charlie Kirk?”

“I want my children to hear everything and to make their own decisions. And they can’t just make a decision that’s not biased if they’re only hearing one biased side, whether it’s my side or another side,” said Marshall.

Addressing Concha, she continued: “I understand marriage and family is important to a lot of people, but I know people that would love to get married just haven’t met the right person or the guy hasn’t asked yet.”

“I suffered 11 miscarriages and I have two children, one after adoption, one after 13 IVF cycles, and I have a son who died,” added Marshall. “So I just say that because I know that when people say, ‘Get married and have children,’ it’s not as easy for everybody.”

Marshall said there are a lot of women who struggle with infertility and just because someone doesn’t have a child, doesn’t mean they don’t want one. “Maybe they actually can’t have [children],” she said.

Concha clarified that he believes Kirk uplifted the pursuit of any form of family.

“I’m just saying — for some people, [having kids] is not number one or number two because they are afraid, you know what I mean?” Marshall said, adding that she wasn’t offended. “Some of my friends saw what I went through and thought, ‘Maybe I don’t want to go down that road.'”

Marshall shares her two kids with her husband, Dr. Asghar Husain.
