LEGO Masters’ Season 6 premiere has been delayed after apparent scheduling conflicts.
Nick Cannon was announced as the new host of the Fox show in June 2025, but fans have been waiting for nearly a year for more information about the new season’s premiere date.
Lego Masters Season 5 kicked off in May and ran until July, but there was no word about Season 6 until very recently.
Earlier in May, it was announced that Lego Masters would be held for a mid-season premiere, meaning it will not hit TV screens until early 2027.
Fans have grown frustrated with the months-long delay.
“Where is Season 6?!” one frustrated fan fumed on Reddit.
“It’s been long enough!” another chimed in.
Others speculated that the delay is related to the 2026 World Cup coverage on Fox, which will put all network shows on hold in June and July.
Some were frustrated with Masked Singer host Nick taking over for the beloved Will Arnett.
“Nick Cannon is such a horrible choice as host,” one follower posted, pointing out his reputation for having 12 children with six women.
Another claimed he’s not “funny, charming, or entertaining.”
Lego Masters premiered in the U.S. in 2020, with teams competing to build the most impressive creations brick by brick.
On the Season 5 finale, siblings Ian and Sage Summers took home the grand prize of $100,000.
“It’s so surreal because we have been such fans of the show. To be in the same conversation of the previous winners, it’s unbelievable,” Ian told TV Insider at the time.
When Nick was announced as the new host last summer, it was said that Season 6 would premiere during the 2025 to 2026 TV season.
