MYSTERY continues to surround the whereabouts of a woman who vanished six weeks ago.
Holly Collinson, 29, travelled from Leicestershire to Newquay back in March before suddenly losing contact with loved ones.
Her worried family later reported her missing to Leicestershire Police on April 10 after hearing nothing from her.
Cops say two of Hollyâs last confirmed sightings were in Cornwall.
The 29-year-old was seen at a pub in Central Square in Newquay on March 25.
Days later she was then spotted leaving Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro at around 10.10am on March 31.
It has now been six weeks since Holly was reported missing and her whereabouts remains unknown.
Holly is described as a white woman of slim build who stands around 5ft 7in tall.
It had previously been believed she had long black, pink, red and plum-coloured dreadlocks.
But relatives now think she may have removed them after footage emerged from the hospital sighting.
In a desperate bid to trace her, Hollyâs aunt Sharon Bailey Collinson has shared another recent photo online.
Alongside the picture, she wrote: âThis is what she looks like normally.â
Speaking about the familyâs anguish, Sharon added: âItâs killing us.â
The search for Holly has also prompted fresh appeals from the Human Rights Association, an initiative linked to the WeCare Foundation.
The group has urged authorities to continue a âsustained and fully resourced search effortâ to find the missing 29-year-old.
A spokesperson for the HRA said new information had led to a major development in the investigation.
They explained: âDevon and Cornwall Police have now assumed lead responsibility for the search, having assessed that recent information indicates Holly is likely still in Cornwall.
âThis is the clearest indication to date that enquiries are focused on the Newquay area and the wider Cornwall region, and the HRA calls on all businesses, accommodation providers, transport operators, and members of the public in Cornwall to treat this appeal with renewed urgency.
âHollyâs family have also released a new photograph that more accurately represents her current appearance.
âThe HRA urges the public to refer to this updated image rather than earlier photographs when attempting to identify her.â
The organisation said it became aware of Hollyâs disappearance through appeals shared publicly by her relatives.
It has since called for searches across Cornwall to be intensified as concern continues to grow.
In a further statement, the HRA said: âHollyâs family have this week released a new and more recent photograph of her in the hope that someone in Cornwall will recognise her, and her aunt Sharon has personally appealed for the image to be shared as widely as possible, stating that the family are sick with worry.â
HRA chairman Saad Kassis-Mohamed also urged anyone who may have seen Holly to come forward.
He said: âHolly has been missing for six weeks. Her family have heard nothing.
âDevon and Cornwall Police now believe she is still in Cornwall.
âThat means there are people in that county who may have seen her, who may have spoken to her, who may have helped her in some way, and who may not yet have contacted the police.
âThe HRA calls on every one of those people to come forward now. Hollyâs family need to know she is safe. She must be found.â
Anyone with information about Hollyâs whereabouts is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting Leicestershire Police incident reference 623 of April 10.
