Ryan Tubridy says he never talks about his divorce because it’s “unfair to people” and he doesn’t want to upset anybody.

The TV and radio presenter was married to Anne Marie Power for two years before they split in 2006.

They share two daughters together, Ella and Julia.

Ryan has never spoken publicly about the split and explained he wants to keep that part of his life private. He said: “I never talk about it. And it’s not to be rude, it’s because it’s unfair to people.

“That’s the bit where I say, ‘There’s public and private,’ and sometimes you have to keep a little bit on those things, because you don’t want to upset somebody else.”

Ryan was posed the question while taking part in The Assembly Ireland, which airs on Virgin Media One tomorrow.
