CRASH TRAGEDY
Tributes to woman, 30s, killed in hit-and-run 3-car crash as locals in ‘shock’ & gardai probe ‘definite line of inquiry’

COPS are following “a definite line of inquiry” following the hit-and-run death of a nurse.
Aine O’Reilly, 30s, died in a three-car crash as she drove to work in Limerick on Friday night.
The Pallasgreen native was pronounced dead at the scene on the N24 near Grange West, Boher, around 11.10pm.
Another man, aged in his 40s, was also injured and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries in Limerick Hospital.
The hunt is on for a third person who fled the scene after the collision — leaving their vehicle behind.
Local Fine Gael councillor Noreen Stokes said: “It was a huge shock to hear the young lady killed in the crash is from my parish.
“She lives less than a mile away from me. The community is in shock. There is a big shadow here with us.”
Aine’s body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem.
Gardai last night said: “An Garda Siochana are following a definite line of inquiry.
“Gardai would like to thank the public for their assistance.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
FUNERAL DETAILS
Fianna Fail Councillor Martin Ryan told The Irish Sun: “It’s so wrong that Aine has been taken from her family and friends in this way.
“They are in all our thoughts and prayers in the community along with the other driver who was impacted by this who we wish a good and speedy recovery to.”
Aine’s heartbroken family have released her funeral details.

Her funeral service will take place the following morning at 11.30am in St. John the Baptist Church Nicker.
