TRIBUTES have been paid to a “devoted” dad-of-four who was killed in an alleged “street attack” as cops charge a 26-year-old with murder.
David Rogers, 58, tragically died in hospital days after an incident in Pencoed, Wales, in the early hours of Saturday, February 28.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene and found David in a critical condition before rushing him to hospital.
The dad-of-four sadly passed away on Monday, despite the best efforts of medics.
His family are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
South Wales Police launched a murder investigation in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Liam Walters, 26, of Pencoed, was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court today and was remanded, he will next appear at Cardiff Crown Court tomorrow.
David, who was known affectionately as Disco Dave, was remembered as a “devoted father to four sons.”
His grieving family said: “David was a proud father of four sons, Aaron, Cory, Kane, and Saul.
“He was a devoted brother to his sister, Bethan, an uncle to his nieces and nephews, Lewis and Leah, and cherished son to his mother, Judy.
“He was a loving former partner to the mother of his children, Michelle. Family meant everything to him.
“He loved going on overseas adventures, playing golf at the Vale Resort, and being known as ‘Disco Dave’.”
David’s partner, Abbie, said: “He was loved by all that knew him. My person, my forever, my best friend.
“We as a family don’t even know how to begin to move on without him.
“The children could never have asked for a better stepdad that always went above and beyond.
“We, as a family, are now left with a hole in our lives that will never be filled. We now need time to grieve.
“We found our forever when we found each other. Love you always, my David.”
Detectives probing the murder are continuing their appeal for information from the public.
Anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Felindre Road, Pencoed, between 12.30am and 4.30am on Saturday, February 28, is urged to contact the force if they haven’t already.
