A BODY has been found in the hunt for a missing woman who was spotted in a Waitrose before disappearing.
Judith, 46, was last seen leaving home in the Henleaze area of Bristol at around 4.45pm yesterday.
She was also seen in a Waitrose that day while wearing a grey, woolly winter coat.
Avon and Somerset Police launched a search for the missing woman following her disappearance.
The force tragically confirmed today a body had been found.
A statement said: “A body has been found in the search for missing Judith, 46, from Bristol.
“While formal identification is yet to take places, detectives have met with Judith’s family to update them. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with them at this time.”
In an earlier appeal, officers said they were growing “concerned” for Judith’s welfare.
She was described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, with long brown hair and occasionally wears glasses.
Officers had asked anyone who saw her to call 999 quoting reference 5226000777.
