Football fans are set to take part in searches for a missing Birmingham City supporter who vanished after travelling to a game last week.

Birmingham City fan Paul Pike has not been seen since Saturday, March 21, after he travelled to Pride Park for Birmingham’s fixture against Derby County. The 18-year-old is believed to have entered the ground, but was later seen outside at around 12.43pm.

Football supporters are now planning to conduct a search around Pride Park today, reports Birmingham Live.

The group has urged anyone who can attend to join them in the search, which is expected to kick off at 12.30pm. Fans and members of the public are said to be meeting outside the West Stand in the car park.

Derbyshire Police has meanwhile released an appeal for any information that may help them trace the missing teenager.

A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for the public’s help to locate missing man Paul Pike. The 18-year-old had travelled to Derbyshire to attend the Derby County vs Birmingham City match at Pride Park on Saturday.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who has seen Paul, as well as anyone who was driving in the Pride Park area at the time who has dashcam footage. Anyone who has seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact us quoting the reference 1095 of 24 March.”
