The former TOWIE star, first launched the heartfelt documentary series volunteering at Dogs Trust rehoming centres in January 2025 and has since dropped three series.
Now, Pete has revealed he will be returning to film a fourth series which will hopefully be released later this year.

He said: ‘I start filming for series four in two weeks time, and Battersea are currently filming with Alison Hammond For The Love Of Dogs, my enemy in the TV world.
‘But it just goes to show how amazing these charities are’.
Pete’s show, which has won a TV Choice Award, highlights the realities of rescue dogs, covering high-stakes veterinary surgeries and the care of abandoned puppies.

Earlier on in the series of his hit UKTV show, Pete was left in tears as he met a terminally ill canine that had been left homeless.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star broke down outside of the Dogs Trust where the series is filmed after meeting Italian Mastiff Theo.
The TV presenter sobbed as it was revealed that Theo had been diagnosed with serious heart condition DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy).
The dog had gone on to develop a second condition, arrhythmia, after suffering from malnutrition in his previous home, and was severely underweight when he was brought in to the Dogs Trust.
It meant that despite being a young and happy dog, Theo had just 12 months to live.
Cuddling and playing with Theo as he received the diagnosis from the vet, Pete cried at the news before taking a break to reflect on his time with the hound.
He told the cameras: ‘I’m just heartbroken, such a beautiful dog, he’s got so much soul and so much personality, he should be in a home.’
The vet added: ‘It’s going to take a special someone to come forward and take on the burden knowing it’s not going to be for a particularly long period of time.’
To which Pete continued: ‘I just wish there was something I could do, you know when you just feel helpless – I’ve completely and utterly fallen in love with that dog. It’s broken my heart, it’s just sad.’
It comes after Pete and new love interest Olivia Attwood talked about her desire to tie the knot in Las Vegas – after it emerged she was never really married to footballer Bradley Dack.
The Daily Mail revealed last week there is no official record of the marriage, with Olivia reportedly choosing not to make it legally binding as she had uncovered ‘mistruths’.
The Love Island star, 34, was spotted kissing Pete, 37, at the Flute Bar in Soho, London last month after she separated from Bradley, 31, in January.

Now, Pete has revealed he will be returning to film a fourth series which will hopefully be released later this year, ‘I start filming for series four in two weeks time’
In this week’s Sunday Roast: The Podcast, the pair awkwardly did not mention their blossoming romance, but spoke of Olivia doing a Las Vegas wedding.
Pete said: ‘We’re going to talk about stag dos because I’ve been invited on a stag do today in Vegas’.
Olivia replied: ‘That’s an elite destination for a stag or anything. I think that probably my next wedding will be in Vegas’, to which Pete asked: ‘Can I come on the hen do?’
She continued: ‘I don’t think I would actually do a hen do, well this is my hot take right, so having been there, done that, got the T-shirt and the trauma I wouldn’t do a hen or a stag again. I think their lame. Sorry, that’s really controversial.’
Continuing to chat about stag and hen parties, Pete also went on to say he wouldn’t have a stag do himself but that he would organise his best friend, Sam Thompson’s, who he said he felt wasn’t far off getting married.
Sam is in in a relationship with model and DJ Talitha Balinska, with the pair confirming their relationship in late 2025.
The pair swerved talking about their romance coming to light.
A friend of the couple said after the pictures emerged of their kiss: ‘Their passionate romance only started in the last few weeks, since she has split from Bradley, there was no overlap.
‘Olivia’s close friends know about this new development and are pleased Pete has put a smile back on her face. He has been a shoulder to cry on and there for Olivia during this really tough time.
‘She has been in the depths of a really horrible break-up and Pete has helped her through it.’
