Jaryd Dawson’s wife has shared a heartbreaking final photo of her husband after the brother of AFL star Jordan Dawson was found dead.

The brother of Adelaide Crows captain Jordan Dawson was found dead on Wednesday afternoon.

His wife Jessica put out a desperate plea as a search began to find Jaryd, who was last seen at 2:30pm on Tuesday.

Following his death Jessica has now shared a touching tribute to her husband, alongside a photo of him and their son Hudson, which was taken just two days before his passing.

“The last photo I took of my two boys, just two days prior,” wrote Jessica.

“I was feeling so incredibly rich in life. Now my heart is shattered into a million pieces. “Huddy and I will love you and miss you forever and ever and ever.”

Jaryd and Jessica married in late 2024 and welcomed baby Hudson, their first child, in September.

Jessica put out a plea on social media calling for help after her husband went missing.

It read: “If anyone has seen or heard from Jaryd Dawson since around 2.30pm yesterday please, please let us know.”

Jaryd’s body was later recovered by emergency services as SA Police asked the public to respect the family’s privacy.

A SA Police statement read: “There are no suspicious circumstances. We ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time.”

Crows star Dawson did not attend training on Wednesday following his brother’s disappearance.

Coach Mathew Nicks told reporters Dawson would not be training because of “personal reasons”.
