Woman, 33, ‘killed’ after armed cops swarmed tower block is pictured as heartbreaking tributes paid to ‘beautiful girl’

A WOMAN who was found dead after armed officers raided a tower block has been named and pictured following a heart-breaking tribute.
Emergency services swarmed an estate in Blackley, Manchester, on April 19, where they found the body of the 33-year-old Amber O’Brien.

4The police have arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
A friend told Manchester Evening News: “She was amazing and our heart goes out to the family at this time. Her smile will always live on. She was the life and soul of the party.
“She was a qualified painter and decorator and everyone knew her in the community.
“She had the most beautiful, gentle soul.
“Her smile was one you would never forget – it beamed. Her smile would brighten yours.”
Tributes have been pouring in on social media from friends and loved ones, with one calling Amber a “beautiful woman”.
They added: “A smile that could light up any room, a laugh so loud it made you laugh. A gorgeous girl, a beautiful soul. You will be sorely missed.”
Another tribute said: “What a beautiful girl inside and out, you was always the best person towards anyone and everyone no matter what.”
Armed police were called to Broadmoss Drive on April 19 following reports of a disturbance at the tower blocks.
A woman was found dead at the scene with officers making a swift arrest of a 31-year-old man who is being held in custody on suspicion of murder.

4An investigation was launched into the death, with the area cordoned off since the incident.
Forensic officers worked at the scene to gather evidence around the building.
Amber’s family have been notified of the passing, with trained officers supporting them.
Detective Chief Inspector Anna Barker, of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “Our thoughts, first and foremost, remain with the victims family as they grieve their loved one.
“We have a man in custody and detectives are questioning him as we try to establish the full circumstances that led to this tragic death.
“We understand this incident may cause concern amongst the community, but we believe there is no wider risk to the public.
“As we continue to conduct a thorough investigation, you will see an increased police presence in the area, and I encourage anyone in the community to please speak with them and raise any concerns or queries you may have.”
