Teen girl, 15, dies after motorbike she was travelling on involved in horror crash with two cars – as three arrested

A GIRL has tragically died after a horror crash involving a motorbike and two cars.

The 15-year-old was a passenger on a motorbike when it smashed with the cars in Buckinghamshire.

Thames Valley Police were notified of the incident, which happened at around 9.20pm on Friday.

The collision occurred between a white Toyota Yaris, a grey Toyota Hilux and a motorbike on the A355 in Buckinghamshire.

The rider of the motorbike, a 16-year-old boy from Beaconsfield, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Two other teenagers, a boy, 16, and a girl, 15, from High Wycombe, were also on a motorbike and have been arrested for the same alleged offence.

A police car was said to be nearby when the collision happened, leading to a mandatory referral made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

But cops say that the police vehicle was driving on the opposite carriage way and wasn’t on blue lights.

Lead investigating officer Oliver Cahill-Smith said: “Firstly, I would like to share my sincere condolences with the family of the girl who has sadly died as a result of this collision.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to please get in touch.

“I would also like to ask anyone who was driving in the area prior to the collision to review their dash-cam footage as it may contain information that could assist our investigation.”
