Antiques dealer and presenter David, 84, has fronted Dickinson’s Real Deal since 2006.

While TV personality Lauren first rose to fame as a child with her knowledge of antiques.

Taking to Instagram, the 47-year-old shared posts criticising valuations made on the show.

In one, she shared a photo of her television screen showing a ring that had been valued at £320.

Lauren penned: ‘Disgusting, a platinum diamond ring. [Worth] thousands and that’s all she got. Upadoo!’

In another instance, she shared a photo of a belt valued at £235 and captioned: ‘This is a heavy Russian silver belt.

‘Another bargain for David.’

As well as this, a further post highlighted a piece that had been valued at £50.

She wrote: ‘That’s a disgusting price.’

While a fourth post featured jewellery that had received a valuation of £150.

Lauren opined: ‘All gold and a huge Amethyst ring plus a heavy gold bracelet.

‘Are we living in a parallel dimension on this show because they are giving the wrong amount terrible.’

In 2013, Lauren took part in series 12 of Celebrity Big Brother – the first to be hosted by Emma Willis.

She placed third overall, behind the winner, reality star Charlotte Crosby and runner-up, singer Abz Love.

In 2024, Lauren told how she ‘came back from the dead’ after falling into a coma during a recent health ordeal.

She had emergency brain surgery after suffering horrific headaches and blackouts and was put in an induced come following the procedure.

Lauren was in hospital for seven months before finally going home in December 2023.

Taking to X at the time, the star said she was left with holes in her head after the surgery and went to a ‘different dimension’.

Lauren wrote: ‘I was dead and in a coma but now l’m alive. I have had to learn to walk again do everything again. After the brain surgery had left five holes in my head.

‘I went to a different dimension what you call a outer body experience, let’s such a beautiful place l will tell you about it soon.’

Several of Lauren’s followers wished her well in the comments, with one writing: ‘Sending love Lauren, such a remarkable recovery’.

Another wrote: ‘Glad you are healing well Lauren, I can’t imagine how scary your hospital stay was!’

A third user wrote: ‘I love hearing about near death experiences and completely believe that this life is just astepping stone of many. You must have felt great comfort from it.’

Lauren was admitted in April 2023 after suffering horrific headaches and blackouts and later went for emergency brain surgery.

Her mother Katy revealed that during an MRI scan doctors found a split in Lauren’s spine leading to her needing ‘high-risk’ surgery.

However Katy informed fans that the operation was ‘unsuccessful’ and Lauren would be staying in hospital for the foreseeable future despite being desperate to ‘get home’.

She wrote: ‘Lauren has had to have Spinal Surgery due to a split in her spine. This was very painful, It’s worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain’.
