Killarney Celtic FC continued: “He was a vibrant, kind-hearted and well-liked young man who was greatly valued by his teammates, coaches and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

“Ewan was a popular member of our Senior B squad and recently battled through a back injury to tog out with his Legion teammates and friends.
“Hugely popular on the pitch and in the dressing room with his teammates, Ewan was always a pleasure to coach from his academy days through juvenile football to the senior ranks.”
